1. End Abortion Now

End Abortion Now started as a grassroots organization that has now expanded to many churches and Christians. They are built with the idea of 3 mission fields: At Abortion Clinics, Before Local Politicians, and Across The World. Their site will guide you and teach you about how to be a part of their ministry and how to share the gospel with it.

As Christians, it is pretty clear that God is against abortion. Psalm 139:13-14 says “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” (NIV) God has made us different than all other beings created.

On January 15th, Vivek Ramaswamy announced the suspension of his 2024 presidential campaign. This event follows the Iowa caucuses where Ramaswamy placed 4th.

Donald Trump led the race with 20 delegates. Ron DeSantis received 9 and Nikki Haley received 8 delegates. Vivek only got 3 from Iowa.

Vivek has since endorsed Donald Trump saying Trump “will have my full endorsement for the presidency.”

As Christians, we must respect the authority of any person governing despite who it is unless laws they make go against God.

Romans 13:1-2 says “Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. ²Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.”

Let us pray for our governing authorities. Pray that they do what is best for our country in God’s eyes. Pray that all people would respect them and that these authorities would come to know Christ if they haven’t.

On January 7th, the star of Reacher, Alan Ritchson, has come out with a video regarding recent messages he received from Christians. The video posted on the InstaChurch YouTube channel.

Alan is quoted saying, “We see miracles and magic, we see life and resurrection and death, and we see this incredible canvas where God is completely unafraid to tell the story of who He is through less than morally ambiguous characters, through pure evil sometimes.”

The video was met with very positive responses with many comments showing praise for the actor being a Christian in Hollywood.

Ritchson has never been shy about his faith. In August, Alan posted a video on his Instagram where he criticized a Satanist regarding the power of prayer.

The “Reacher” actor is also starring in a new movie “Ordinary Angels” set to release on February 23rd. “Ordinary Angels” is produced by Lionsgate and will star Alan along with Hilary Swank and a few others.

Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh Praises God For Win Over 49ers and Rams

The Baltimore Ravens posted a video on their YouTube where John Harbaugh praised God for their win over the 49ers. As Harbaugh was talking and celebrating players in the locker-room, everyone took a knee while he said, “God is with us.” He then led the team in the famous chant “God is good, all the time. And all the time, God is good.”

John Harbaugh has never been shy about his faith. Being the coach of the Ravens for 16 years, Harbaugh has several times mentioned God in an honoring way. After the win against the Los Angeles Rams, Harbaugh said this at a press conference, “It’s also the Advent season. Advent comes from the Latin ‘adventus,’ which means anticipation and preparation for an amazing event, which is the coming of our Savior and celebrating the Christ — the Good News that changes the world and changes it for all eternity.”

This is heartwarming to see a professional team still remembering to thank God with there being so much else to think about, especially considering the 49ers game was arguably the hardest for the Ravens as they faced the top team in the NFC.
